Reaching this milestone within blogging has had me thinking.  Why am I doing this?  Am I doing a good job at this?

I started blogging so that I could have a place to share some of my thoughts, sermons, and think through concepts that will help me in life and in my job.  I also wanted to improve my writing skills and means of communication.  Therefore most of the reason that I began this blog was personal.

As I think and wonder if I am doing a good job at this, I have wondered, how shall I measure success?  I could go through the number of posts, the number of readers, how much I feel that I have grown through this blog.  I have not had a lot of posts, most are sermons and a few personal thoughts about theology.  If I look only at the number of readers, it is not very good record.  I average about twenty eight readers per post and in the whole life of my blog, I have had seven thousand separate views upon all of my posts.  Above all, I started this as a place where I could grow and I feel that I have grown in finding my voice, being able to share concepts and ideas in a clear manner.  However, I still feel that I have room to grow but I am human.  I am never going to be perfect.  I do hope that others think the same thing and suggestions are always welcome.

This blog has helped me realize the need for me to actively and continually provide feedback for me to help within my growth and continued improvement to use my gifts wisely and effectively.  This can only be found in the form of a mentor and director in leading me and walking with me in my journey.  I plan on continuing to blog but may explore more topics, ways of engaging readings and hopefully get some feedback and insight.  Along with that, I may look for more ways to promote this blog.  So let me know from you the readers, What do you like? What don't you like? What would you like to see more of?  What would you change?

Thanks for reading and your continued joining me on the journey of life. (at least what I share here.)
