Second Chapter

Within the second chapter, we begin to see that though God had removed humankind from the Garden and from his presence.  God comes back to us.  God continues the relationship and forms a covenant with Abraham.  Abraham will have many descendants, those descendants will own land and also bless other nations through them. God calls Abraham when he is old, 75 to be exact, and has Abraham travel with his wife to a foreign land.

What is God calling you to do?  Where should you go to do God's work?

The chapter continues with Abraham and his son, Isaac, along with his son Jacob.  Within the story, we hear about how Isaac and Jacob are not perfect but God still uses them to do his work.  Have you ever felt that way?  Like you were not good enough, qualified or even able to do the work that God is calling you to do.

Remember, you are called and claimed by God.  You are not perfect but God will use you where you are to do great things.

Within this chapter, Abraham and his sons do a lot of travelling.  Where are some places that you experienced God?  Where have you seen God at work?
